When was the last time your pond was drained down and given a proper cleaning? Depending on factors such as stocking density, filtration, and placement of pond in relation to trees a pond may need a deep cleaning once a year or once every few years. Our deep cleaning service includes draining down the entire pond, moving the fish to a holding tank with aeration, and powerwashing the pond to give it a fresh new look. The gravel is rinsed throughly to ensure all the muck that accumulates in it is removed. All filtration systems are properly cleaned during this process as well. The pond is then filled back up with (treated) fresh water and the fish are acclimated to the new water conditions and released back into their new fresh environment.
